David Brown and Tim Guilliams

Brown, 69, the British co-inventor of Viagra, has now turned his attention to rare diseases. Together with Guilliams, 35, he has developed a company that uses artificial intelligence to map existing drugs with more than 7,000 diseases for which there is no current cure. Healx’s technology has already been used in collaboration with FRAXA, the patient group for fragile X syndrome, an incurable genetic disorder that can cause seizures and hyperactivity.
