VERBONDEN NAVIGATIE

Connected Traffic and Travel Services bieden een uitgebreide informatiedatabase om gebruikers te ondersteunen tijdens hun rijervaring. De navigatie is verbonden met realtime verkeersinformatie, voor een nauwkeurige schatting van de aankomsttijd en om alternatieve routes voor te stellen. Hierdoor wordt de reistijd geminimaliseerd en kan verkeer worden vermeden, terwijl de veiligheid wordt verbeterd met vroege veiligheidswaarschuwingen en tips voor brandstof-/energie-efficiëntie.

REALTIME INFORMATIE

Het systeem toont niet alleen verkeers- en weersinformatie, maar ook informatie over parkeergarages, tankstations en brandstofprijzen. Terwijl naar een bestemming wordt gezocht of op de kaart wordt gekeken, toont het systeem parkeergarages. Nadat op een specifieke parkeergarage wordt getikt, wordt een pop-upvenster weergegeven met daarop het aantal vrije parkeerplaatsen en openings-/sluitingstijden (indien beschikbaar).

Map Updates Over The Air

The navigation system automatically downloads map updates using embedded connectivity, thereby ensuring an always up to date service. The updates are released once a month, built on partial/incremental steps to offer customers the latest maps in their areas of interest. In case a region is no longer among this area, the automatic update can be disabled. When planning a trip, the system will look for updates availability for the regions along the route, as well as at the final destination. Over the air map updates can be performed also by connecting the parked vehicle to a Wifi hotspot.

Wi-Fi Hotspot

Wi-Fi connection is provided by Maserati’s Mobile Network Operator Partner. The owner needs to subscribe to the service directly on the Mobile Network Operator dedicated web page, which can be reached through the Customer Web Portal.
