When we decided to enter the world of electric, we knew the flood gates were being flung open to a revolutionary, new realm of possibility. The Maserati GranTurismo Folgore represents a new way to experience grand touring.

One of the defining Maserati characteristics has always been that sound. Over the years motors have evolved and so have their clamorous roars. The move into electric is not so much a revolution for the Trident, but evolution. We’ve embraced the future and are racing into it.

Meet the mastermind behind the Maserati GranTurismo: Davide Danesin. He and the accomplished musician, producer and composer, Dardust, are going to take you on a journey to discover the process of creating that perfect sound experience for our next-generation, full-electric luxury sports car.

Breaking with convention always attracts critique – remember when they all thought we were crazy to put racing power in a luxury sedan? Fortunately, we love pioneering unexplored territories. We always have and always will. And the key that drives us forward is in our quest for balance. With the GranTurismo, that equilibrium has been made manifest.

For Dardust, Maserati has always represented a fine balance between tradition and innovation. He too works to obtain that in his music: starting from the warmth of the piano, he artfully layers in a selection of the seemingly endless possibilities that digital offers.

A revolutionary new motor construct marked the occasion for an evolution of sound. The electric experience encapsulates a wave of dynamic energy that is distinct and moving. The Folgore roars in suit.
