Goodwood welcomes the 2018 GranTurismo and GranCabrio
Maserati has a connection with Goodwood that goes back over 60 years. In the mid 1950s both Roy Salvadori and Stirling Moss won there racing the iconic 250F.
Today, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is the most prestigious car culture event in the world, making it the perfect place to showcase the 2018 Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio.
Visitors to the Maserati stand were able to appreciate the meticulous attention to detail that has gone into restyling the cars and then enjoy watching them both in action on the famous Goodwood Hillclimb.
First glimpses, first reactions
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is an opportunity for car manufacturers to present their latest models, Maserati showed the 2018 GranTurismo and GranCabrio. Enthusiasts were delighted as they got their first glimpses of the latest expression of this iconic car in action, a lucky few even got to ride in them.
Partners in excellence
Maserati has collaborated with several renowned partners to craft the perfect GranTurismo experience of style, comfort and performance at Goodwood. As part of its partnership with Maserati, Bulgari has designed the GranTurismo owner’s watch Exclusive Edition and it was unveiled it at the Maserati lounge at Goodwood.
Every Maserati customer who ordered an MY18 GranTurismo or GranCabrio during the Festival of Speed will be presented with one of the exclusive watches.
Maserati also begun its partnership with Caviar House & Prunier at Goodwood Festival of Speed. To celebrate, the renowned gastronomy brand offered an exclusive caviar tasting experience to Maserati guests throughout the event.
The unmistakable sound of Maserati
Hairs stood up on the backs of necks as the thrilling signature sound of a naturally aspirated Maserati 4.7 litre V8 engine filled the air. The GranTurismo was being unleashed for the Supercar Run.
The journey begins
The Goodwood Festival of Speed may have finished but the journey of the 2018 GranTurismo and Grancabrio is about to begin.
Over 200,000 visitors had the opportunity to watch them in action for the first time. They were also able to enjoy the GranTurismo heritage with the 1949 A6 1500, 1960 3500 GT Vignale Spyder, 1970 Ghibli SS Coupé and 2001 3200 GT Assetto Corsa all on show.
