강력한 지중해의 북동풍의 이름을 딴 그레칼레는 마세라티에 핵심적인 역할을 맡게 될 SUV 차량이다.

마세라티는 세계적으로 유명한 바람의 이름을 따서 차량의 이름을 짓는 전통을 가지고 있다.

1963년에 출시한 전설적인 모델 중 하나인 미스트랄(Mistral)과 함께 시작된 마세라티의 전통은 보라(Bora), 메라크(Merak), 캄신(Khamsin), 기블리(Ghibli)가 뒤를 이었다. 그리고 2016년 마세라티 역사상 최초의 SUV인 르반떼(Levante)도 지중해의 바람의 명칭으로 명명되었다.
