The Folgore’s powertrain is developed with Formula E-derived technology like the silicon carbide inverters for a better energy flow and higher efficiency.

The cutting-edge 800-volt battery powers three potent 300-kw permanent magnet motors – one in the front, two in the rear – to deliver up to 560 kW 761 CV and a mind-blowing 1,350 Nm of torque across all four wheels.*

Or until the next stop for admiring the scenery. When it’s time, it can charge up to 100 km in just 5 minutes* – elegantly preserving that balance between going the distance fast and living at your own pace.

Back on the road, additional energy is captured and stored when braking.

Folgore is the Italian word for lightning, in other words, power in its purest form.

The GranTurismo Folgore flashes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325 km/h. The ingenious “T-bone” layout positions battery mass closer to the roll axes for a perfect weight distribution and low center of gravity – it sits at just 1.353 mm high.

The result? Higher speed, blazing acceleration and sensational agility: a true Maserati sports car, on its own terms.*

Through the dedicated Charging App, users have access to one of the largest charging station networks in Europe.

More than 400.000 charging stations are registered, 30.000 of which are ultra-fast charging columns. 

GranTurismo Folgore clients will receive their own wallbox for installation at home or at another preferred charging location. The wallbox guarantees from 3 kW up to 22 kW of charging capacity, and features charging load balancing technology.*

Aerodynamic design
Its power sweeps through the air. Specific front splitters and diffusers, together with 20/21’’ diamond-cut gloss black Aero wheels are designed to improve Folgore’s aerodynamic efficiency for a stronger and longer driving pleasure.

Speak electric
The Maserati design language, electrified. The Trident logo as well as the Maserati, GranTurismo and Folgore scripts are in dark copper. The side vents are illuminated in electric blue, the calipers are anodized and the special Folgore grille has glossy black inserts on a slightly anodized silk black base.

The phenomenon of Aurora Borealis inspired our designers to create an ambience where energy flows throughout to excite everyone onboard. Minimal, clean, pure: the interiors brilliantly mark the evolution that Folgore embodies through the masterful use of colors, materials, graphics, digital surfaces and innovative crafting techniques.

Weaving into the future
Regeneration and circularity. To upholster seats, pillars, sun visors and the ceiling of the Folgore we used ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon fiber used to produce the technical fabric made 100% from fishing nets and others plastic scraps, already utilized in high-fashion and furniture industries. It’s like a bodysuit: compact, matte, soft-to-touch and lightweight that perfectly adapts to and breathes with the surfaces design.

Sensing dynamism
Light or dark. The GranTurismo Folgore is available in Ice/Denim with Ice stitching or with black upholstery and copper stitching. The extensive use of ECONYL® opens up new graphic opportunities: laser etching techniques gives it a super wavy herringbone pattern, like a motion made eternal. The same dynamism continues in the button-free dashboard and panels via the “high-frequency” leather printing technology.

Drive the lightning
As soon as the destination is selected, on the central-up 12.3’’ screen the predicted state of charge at destination will appear together with the best options to recharge along the journey. Charging stations and the maximum distance one can run – based on battery, driving style and roads real-time information - are displayed on the navigation map. During any stop, it’s possible to keep the cabin temperature for anyone’s onboard delight. Wait no more, grab the heated steering wheel and get an electrifying grand tour started.
