Modena, 15 September 2026. Maserati takes centre stage at Goodwood Revival 2026 this weekend as motoring enthusiasts gather at the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit for one of the world's most celebrated motorsport events.
Providing the perfect backdrop to mark Maserati's Trident centenary year, the brand will showcase a selection of iconic heritage vehicles from the renowned Panini Collection, presented and supported by Maserati Classiche, bringing a century of racing heritage and automotive excellence to Europe's most evocative race meeting.
Goodwood Revival adopts a ‘La Dolce Vita’ theme this year, celebrating Italian culture, romance and motorsport from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. The Turning Circle – the focal point of Goodwood Motor Circuit – is to be redesigned to pay homage to Italian style and heritage throughout the weekend.
In keeping with the La Dolce Vita theme, the 2026 Revival racing programme has been redesigned for maximum racing, including the ‘Battle of Modena’, with Friday featuring more racing than ever before, while Sunday welcomes the return of The RAC TT Celebration – the most prestigious race on Goodwood’s annual calendar.
The Italian theme makes Goodwood Revival a fitting stage for Maserati's ongoing 100 Years of the Trident celebrations. As the oldest automotive brand in Italy's renowned Motor Valley, Maserati continues to honour a century defined by innovation, craftsmanship, and unmistakable Italian character.
In particular, these centenary celebrations commemorate a defining moment in Maserati’s story: the Tipo 26’s class victory at the 1926 Targa Florio – the Trident’s first major success on track and a milestone that laid the foundations for a century of achievements, establishing Maserati as one of the most celebrated names in motorsport.
Throughout the Revival weekend, visitors will be able to experience some of the most iconic models from Maserati's history. Displayed prominently around the Goodwood Motor Circuit, the Berlinetta A6GCS-53, Tipo 420M/58 "Eldorado" and Tipo 61 "Birdcage" each represent defining chapters in Maserati’s long history.
Maserati Berlinetta A6GCS-53
The Berlinetta A6GCS-53, unveiled at the 1954 Turin Motor Show, is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful Maseratis ever created, combining Pininfarina’s elegant coachwork with the proven racing pedigree of the A6GCS-53 sports car. Only four of its kind were ever produced, making it extremely rare and the last Pininfarina-designed Maserati for more than 50 years.
Maserati Tipo 420M/58
The Tipo 420M/58, better known as the Eldorado, made history as the first single-seat racing car in Europe to carry a commercial sponsor's livery. It was commissioned in 1958 to compete in the famous Race of Two Worlds at Monza, with its powerful V8 engine, and speeds in excess of 217mph, make it one of the most innovative and recognisable Maseratis ever built.
Maserati Tipo 61
The Maserati Tipo 61 ‘Birdcage’ is celebrated as one of the most innovative racing cars of its era, featuring a revolutionary lightweight spaceframe chassis made from 200 small steel tubes. Combining groundbreaking engineering with exceptional agility and race-winning success, the Tipo 61 became an enduring icon of Maserati's motorsport heritage and technical ingenuity.
