Inspirational Talks sessions were born from the idea of capturing the attention of the Maserati Family on D&I world, through real-life experiences of colleagues and people external to the organization, who provided new perspectives and points of view to the Maserati internal audience.
The first pick was Tomoko Mukaiyama san; the Japanese pianist, visual artist, director, producer and multi modal artist with whom Maserati Japan had established a collaboration to support the storytelling of Grecale.
The counterpart for the conversation was Maserati colleague Yumi Yagi san, Maserati APAC HR Business Partner. Born in the USA, grown up in an international environment, moved back to Japan, where she grew her career with an international imprinting.
Two women with different backgrounds, cultures and business career working together to offer the best insights that could be truly relevant and inspirational for the audience. No barriers, no unconscious biases: both of them opened up about their life experiences exposing their feelings, challenges, difficulties and successes.
During the second Inspiring Talk, the Maserati Family had the opportunity to meet and share the story of two inspiring women: the singer Levante and the Maserati colleague Karen Fang, who talked about their personal and professional growth driven by their passion, which helped them become who they are.
Through their diverse experiences the audience was exposed to both European and Chinese cultural facets, enriching their approach to the working world.
In celebration of Arab American Heritage Month, Women of Stellantis-Maserati hosted the third Inspirational Conversation featuring Teresa Thiele, SVP Global Purchasing and WoS-Global Co-Chair, and Ascia AlShammari (@ascia,) a Kuwaiti-American fashion blogger, designer and Maserati Brand Ambassador.
The goal was to listen to the voice of women worldwide to understand how they created their own path and overcame the challenges of their personal and professional lives.
After two conversations focused on Asia and Europe, it was really a pleasure and a great satisfaction to exchange the perspective of two women, one coming from America, then one coming from the Middle East.
The focus of the talk was the concept of work life balance and how our guests strived to achieve it, being both mothers and brilliant workers.
An inspiring dialogue on careers, motherhood, allyship and lessons learned, celebrating the privilege of womanhood and fostering empowerment.
