Speed at its most extreme

The Maserati GT2 Stradale delivers unparalleled sensations and superior performance: these are the ingredients of the Racetrack Academy.

The goal is to achieve the highest knowledges of the racetrack driving by means of intensive track sessions on board of the MC20 and the GT2 Stradale.

The Academy includes advanced  theoretical sessions about the technical features of the car as well as driving techniques, to fully exploit the potential of the car.

The team of professional drivers guarantee a continuous support throughout the dynamic program, focusing on key aspects such as the warm up of tyres (*), the performance braking, the transition phase to the acceleration, the load transfers and more.

The driving data of each participant are recorded through the on-board telemetry data acquisition system, for a deep review with the instructor, to monitor the individual performances.

The sim-racing contest puts the driver behind the wheel of a virtual GT2 racer to compete side by side with other drivers on an international racetrack.   

The Lead & Follow sessions and the hot lap session on board of a real GT2 Racer set the peak of the experience.

The GT2 Racer driven by a professional driver will showcase its racing performance along the 4,085Km of Vallelunga circuit, for the highest emotional engagement of the day.

(*) The GT2 Stradale is equipped with high performance semi-slick tires, which require a dry track to work in the correct window.
In case of wet track, the Master Maserati team will evaluate the conditions and the replacement of the semi-slick tires with regular grooved sport tires.

  • Theory session on the racetrack driving techniques.
  • Multiple dynamic sessions with MC20 and GT2 Stradale.
  • Video and data-based driving quality assessment.
  • Advanced lapping with the “lead & follow” sessions.
  • Hot lap session on board of the Maserati GT2 Racer.
  • Sim-racing training.
  • Prize giving ceremony for the best 3 drivers of the day.
