Tales of GranTurismo

Maserati has updated its GranTurismo with an interior redesign and state-of-the-art infotainment technology to complement its iconic styling and classic V8 performance.

There is no mistaking the sleek muscular style of the Maserati GranTurismo or the glorious aural soundtrack and thundering performance of its naturally aspirated 4.7-litre V8.

Quite simply, it is what has made the car so desirable so when Maserati chose to update the model for 2018, styling changes were limited to a neat nip and tuck to improve aerodynamics.

Take a look inside however, and the 2018 GranTurismo sports a newly designed leather-trimmed dash and centre console featuring the latest in infotainment technology. Central to this is the Maserati Touch Control unit - a hi-resolution 8.4-inch touchscreen display to control all navigation, audio, climate control, phone, rear view camera and vehicle setting functions. Alongside the multiple USB, auxiliary, SD card and Bluetooth inputs, the new system is also fully compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto enabling you to display a mirror image of your phone on the central touchscreen. And to ensure the finest in listening pleasure, both the new GranTurismo Sport and MC models feature a premium 900 watt, 10 speaker harman kardon audio system.

Additional control of some infotainment functions is also offered via the double rotary dial in forged aluminum that falls easily to hand located adjacent to the shift lever for the six-speed automatic transmission.

Together with the new state-of-the-art technology, the GranTurismo maintains its classic, stylish and luxurious interior trim featuring fine Poltrona Frau leather and Alcantara to provide the optimum comfort and support for all four occupants.

Updated and improved, the new Maserati GranTurismo remains the ultimate grand tourer.
