Modena, 23 July, 2026 – Maserati celebrates the latest creation from the Maserati Fuoriserie programme with the unveiling of a special GT2 Stradale built to order for a prominent Taiwanese collector. Developed through a close collaboration between the customer, the Modena team, and the Centro Stile, this bespoke model pays tribute to the legendary MC12–one of the most iconic Maseratis in recent history–reinterpreting its spirit through an elaborate configuration that combines the Trident's racing heritage, stylistic refinement, and Italian craftsmanship.
The spectacular GT2 Stradale “Tribute to MC12” was unveiled and handed over to its owner at Maserati headquarters in Modena. It marked the culmination of an experience centred on the values of Italy's Motor Valley and the 112-year heritage of its longest-standing automotive brand. In addition to receiving his car, the new customer enjoyed an exclusive immersive experience that included a private tour of the historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant, followed by a journey to discover the best of Italy's Emilia region, and a visit to the Umberto Panini Collection in Modena–home to some of the most iconic models in the Trident's history.
The GT2 Stradale "Tribute to MC12" is distinguished by a refined reinterpretation of the Leggenda livery, first introduced on the eponymous special series of the 2024 MC20. It pairs the sophisticated Matte Digital Mint hue with Nero Essenza bodywork, accented by finishes in Giallo Avia Pervia. The historical inspiration is unmistakable: the iconic colours of the highly successful Vitaphone Racing team MC12 GT1, which claimed three victories (2005, 2006, and 2008) and two runner-up finishes (2007 and 2009) at the legendary 24 Hours of Spa–an unmatched record at the Belgian endurance classic.
The customisation extends to every detail of the car: the Tridents on the front and pillars and the rear Maserati badge are finished in gloss yellow, while the Maserati Fuoriserie logo on the rear fenders echoes the same Digital Mint hue as the livery. In another nod to the car's racing DNA, the imposing rear carbon-fibre wing also features the Maserati signature in Giallo Avia Pervia.
A first for the GT2 Stradale further underscores its exclusivity: the gloss-finished carbon-fibre aerodynamic elements–from the four hood vents and front louvers to the rear ducts and wing–highlight the car's technical character and meticulous craftsmanship. Completing the exterior configuration of this Fuoriserie super sports car are carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow callipers, centre-lock wheels in an anodised black finish, and the Performance Plus package.
The sporty character of the exterior carries over into the cabin, where racing seats upholstered in black Alcantara feature a yellow embroidered Trident on the headrests and are paired with matching four-point harnesses. Yellow contrast stitching extends across the steering wheel, dashboard, centre tunnel, and door panels, creating visual continuity with the exterior, while the carbon-fibre interior package further enhances the motorsport-inspired environment. Adding an even more exclusive touch is the dedicated "Tribute to MC12" badge, specially requested by the customer and set into the cabin, serving as the hallmark of a one-of-a-kind project.
Produced at Maserati's historic plant in Modena, the GT2 Stradale is the perfect synthesis of track-derived know-how and the Trident's expertise in building super sports cars that can also be enjoyed on the road. This super sports car brings the race car's engineering philosophy to the road. Beneath the hood roars the iconic 640-hp Nettuno V6, allowing the GT2 Stradale to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 320 km/h. Significant weight reduction, track-developed aerodynamics, and technical solutions derived from motorsport make it the most performance-focused road-going Maserati ever built, without compromising the elegance that defines every vehicle bearing the Trident.

The event dedicated to the GT2 Stradale "Tribute to MC12" is part of the Year of the Trident, a program of events and activities celebrating the first 100 years of the iconic logo and Maserati's first racing victory. In fact, on 25 April, 1926, behind the wheel of the legendary Tipo 26, Alfieri Maserati claimed victory in his class and finished eighth overall, marking the beginning of a racing tradition that has helped shape the Brand's very identity.
