The Maserati Lifestyle Journey

An exclusive journey to celebrate the collaboration between Maserati and Ermenegildo Zegna with the Ghibli and Quattroporte companion

Stresa, located on the shores of Lake Maggiore, renowned for its antiquity and timeless beauty, is the perfect place to start the Maserati Lifestyle Journey where the Ghibli and Quattroporte MY 2016 will be presented in a dedicated Press Event with Mr. Harald J. Wester, CEO of Maserati, and Mr. Paolo Zegna, President of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group.
The Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées, where the Press Conference will take place and guests will stay overnight, combines sumptuous elegance and tradition with the allure of Italian luxury: all qualities associated with Maserati and Zegna. These places also have an important literary significance: in September 1918, the American writer Ernest Hemingway arrived in Stresa for the first time at the age of 19, recovering from a war wound. Reminiscing about the beauty of the place, Hemingway set part of his novel “A Farewell to Arms” in the hotel, in the suite where the Maserati Press Conference takes place.

During the second day, there will be a test drive in Balocco of the Maserati sedans, Quattroporte and Ghibli, some of which are already equipped with brand new Ermenegildo Zegna interiors available from September 2015. The collaboration of the two brands will offer an advanced level of customization and luxuries interiors exclusively for Maserati.
One of the place where this journey will stop is so, Casa Zegna, part of Fondazione Zegna, an historical archive and cultural centre in Trivero, in the province of Biella. Inside the Zegna Wool Mill, in a 1930s building that was once the family’s home, a new “archive-museum” concept has been developed. It is an extraordinary synthesis of history and experience, a constantly active multi-purpose space, a crucible of new ideas where tradition merges with transformation. It is also the place where the uniquely smooth silk used for the Maserati sedans’ elegant interiors is created.

The third location will be Grugliasco, close to Turin, to visit the new high-tech Avvocato Giovanni Agnelli Plant (AGAP). Inaugurated on 30 January 2013, this plant is able to guarantee the highest technical and quality standards, while having a flexible customization capability and is where the flagship sedan Quattroporte and the new Ghibli, went into production just seven months later from its inauguration.
