Almost defiantly, the northern part of the island rises from plains cultivated with olive trees and vegetables. Meter after meter, it clings to itself like a cyclist uphill. The elegance of the red earth is covered with linden trees, then oaks, then larches and at the end of the journey it transforms in high ochre rock beaten by the currents.
Suddenly the mountain ends, the wind rises and you find yourself at the peak of the orogenic effort: the cliff is majestic. The island is a monument to the wave made by Earth.
But those are complex, vertical shorelines. The journey will take a break here, but it begins further south, still somewhere between land and sea. You are here to be the witness of continuous changes of state: between land and sea, between free energy and potential energy, between altitude and the horizon.
