Here, they had the unique opportunity to witness the making of MCXtrema in progress and configure their own 1 of 62. The owners worked with the Maserati team to shape their racing machine according to their personal tastes.

The beast in its element

From the hills of Italy’s Motor Valley, the anticipation was palpable as the MCXtrema took off to an undisclosed location in California. Where was it headed? The legendary Monterey Car Week. The House of Trident knows a thing or two about grand arrivals, and this time it was an uncaging of historic proportions. The very first MCXtrema, in all its track-devouring glory, was ready to meet its racer.

First MCXtrema Delivered

History was made in California as the 1st of 62 MCXtrema was delivered to its racer Gabriele. The beast of Modena was unleashed, its 740-CV symphony echoing through the hills of Monterey. Exterior design

Fierce beauty

Both art and science are required to bring such a magnificent creature to life. The perfect shape of the MCXtrema packs an aggressive pounce. Three intersecting contours trace out its sleek silhouette for supreme airflow. From the Trident-shaped front bonnet to the aggressive splitter, along the sides and to the rear where the wing with a central fin is positioned, every detail is purposefully designed to maximize grip and velocity.

Those who first encountered it in the early stages of its development all said the same thing: “extreme”. And that's part of the reason for its name. Just like the Maserati MC20, "MC" stands for Maserati Corse.

"Xtrema" is the absolute emotion the 62 will own.
