Levante rises to the challenge at the UK Press Launch

The All New Maserati Levante was put to the test in mud at the UK press launch in the Cotswolds.

For a week at the end of November members of the UK media had the chance to drive the all-new Levante SUV at an exclusive press event hosted at the luxury boutique hotel Thyme at Southrop in the South Cotswolds.

The media had the chance to experience the Levante SUV both on a road route around the Cotswolds before heading off road on a specially designed course  through the woods around the Cirencester Polo Grounds.

The excellent performance and handling of the Levante were demonstrated on the flowing roads through the many picturesque villages of the Cotswolds as the media made their way from Thyme at Southrop to Cirencester. Once at the polo field the Levante’s off-road capabilities shone through. Severe rain storms meant that the woodland tracks were covered in a fresh layer of mud and debris, which the Levante overcame with ease thanks to the combination of air suspension, specific off-road settings and Q4 AWD system that all help to deliver a typical Maserati rear-wheel drive experience, even in low grip conditions acted on demand, transferring traction to the front wheels with an immediate response when required.

Overall the event was a resounding success with the Levante demonstrating that it really is the Maserati of SUVs.
