Simun Concept Car

Ghia

Created by Carrozzeria Ghia on a modified Mexico chassis, the Simun made its début at the 1967 Turin Motor Show.

It was a car bearing the name of another of the world’s winds after the Ghibli of the previous year, and was designed yet again by Giorgetto Giugiaro.
The car was his last Ghia project: the following year, he displayed the Manta, his new company ltaldesign’s first prototype.
The Simun is remembered by few people today, but it was a testimony to Giugiaro ability, which has accompanied him throughout his long career.
During that time, he has produced ever-coherent, extremely professional designs, which were achieved with great control of the volumes and surfaces. So much so that the quality of the end product is always extremely high, even when his inspiration is not in full flow.
