Demis Hassabis

Hassabis is a leading expert in artificial intelligence and the co-founder of DeepMind, sold to Google in 2014 for £400m. The 40-year-old Londoner obtained a double first in computer science from Cambridge, before studying for a PhD. DeepMind is working with NHS trusts, and with National Grid to run the electricity network more efficiently.
