Connected Navigation

Connected Traffic and Travel Services providing a broad information base to support the owner during his driving experience. Navigation is connected to real time traffic information, for an accurate estimation of arrival time and to give suggestions of alternative routes, avoiding traffic and minimising travel time. 

Traffic information are updated every 30 seconds, thereby allowing to predict the speed for each stretch of upcoming roads on routes. Real-time traffic information enables accurate ETA and efficient routing and re-routing, reducing travel times while improving safety with early safety warnings and fuel/energy efficiency tips.

The owner can search for an address or Point of Interest with a single line of query. This feature enables to find the POI without having to type the exact address of the location. The search is run in the online directory, which is constantly updated.

Real-time Info

On top of traffic and weather info, the system will show parking garages information,  parking availability, fuel stations info and fuel price. During the search for a destination or when browsing the map, the system will show parking garages and parking availability. After tapping a specific parking garage, a pop-up will show all the details, including the number of parking spots, indications as to whether the parking is filling up or emptying, and opening/closing hours.

The Fuel Finder service provides the driver with information on the location of fuel stations and fuel prices per fuel type. Fuel price information is based on input from petrol companies, governments, fuel card operators, end-users and credit-card companies. Therefore, the user is able to view detailed information on fuel services, where such information is available, either based on a vehicle event or user exploration.

When searching for a fuel station, the nearest ones will be listed below the search bar Alternatively, along with the name of gas station, the location, fuel types, volume units, currency accepted, pricing at last update time, payment methods, phone number, opening hours, and associated services. Fuel stations are shown in the route bar during route planning and during guidance. Navigation will display fuel stations located along or near a route.

Map Updates Over The Air

The navigation system automatically downloads map updates using embedded connectivity, thereby ensuring an always up to date service. The updates are released once a month, built on partial/incremental steps to offer customers the latest maps in their areas of interest. In case a region is no longer among this area, the automatic update can be disabled. When planning a trip, the system will look for updates availability for the regions along the route, as well as at the final destination.
Over the air map updates can be performed also by connecting the parked vehicle to a Wifi hotspot.

Wi-Fi Hotspot

Wi-Fi connection is provided by Maserati’s Mobile Network Operator Partner. The owner needs to subscribe to the service directly on the Mobile Network Operator dedicated web page, which can be reached through the Customer Web Portal.

I dati dei singoli veicoli possono discostarsi dai dati di riferimento in base all’omologazione svizzera.

Per poter confrontare i consumi energetici delle diverse tipologie di propulsione (benzina, diesel, gas, energia elettrica ecc.), il consumo viene espresso anche nei cosiddetti equivalenti benzina (unità di misura per l’energia).
