Performance, design and advanced technology have come under the spotlight as Maserati prepares to launch a raft of upgrades for the latest 2018 model year Quattroporte and Ghibli sedans, GranTurismo and GranCabrio sports cars and Levante SUV.

As the flagship in the Maserati lineup, the Quattroporte has always led the way in advanced technology and for 2018, that features in the new Electric Power Steering system and an Integrated Vehicle Control function for more precise control and enhanced driving dynamics.

A new suite of safety features includes Adaptive LED Headlights and Advanced Driving Assistance Systems including Lane Keeping Assist, Highway Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist functions.

Under the bonnet, the twin-turbo V6 in the Quattroporte S gains a power and torque increase of 15kW and 30Nm to generate peak outputs of 320kW and 580Nm further boosting performance.

Increased sporting performance is also on the agenda for the Levante with the new petrol Levante S set to arrive in Australia and New Zealand in the new year.

Featuring the same Ferrari-made 3.0-litre engine as the Quattroporte S and Ghibli S, the Levante S puts a significant sports factor into the SUV while the adoption of the GranLusso and GranSport trim levels and same technological upgrades as the Quattroporte and Ghibli across the range, adds further distinction to the Levante lineup.

A redesigned interior with a host of new technology also features strongly in the new MY18 GranTurismo and GranCabrio.

Maintaining the iconic naturally-aspirated 4.7-litre V8 for pure performance, the two sleek sports cars feature a refined interior for improved ergonomics and a state-of-the-art infotainment system comprising an 8.4-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and a harman kardon Premium Sound system.
