"Since the start of the year, this has meant we have been more competitive and led us to field two cars rather than the one we did last year. At Donington, this partnership means that we can count on someone like Alessandro Pier Guidi. I know him personally and am also aware that he has a good relationship with the Maserati technicians and so he will fit right in and be able to give his all. What made his arrival easier was a new collaboration agreement made with the TMO organisation that manages the drivers and with which he has links. Still, I would like to really thank Andrea Chiesa, a driver we started the Superstars Maserati Quattroporte project with in 2009 and who has raced for us up until now. Chiesa has made a huge contribution to the team and we will continue working with him in other projects we are weighing up together, with the constant support of Maserati Corse".
