"It really was a tight battle. There was the odd collision but it was all above board. We clashed twice and I would like to apologise to Peter for that. Still, we both made it across the finish line. There were two phases to my race: in the first I had a bit of understeer and this kept my pace down in curves. In the second half of the race, the tyres were more predictable and I was quicker. If anything, there was a touch of oversteer as I couldn't wait to step on the gas and speed out of the curves. The car was superquick by the end but I still couldn't get the better of Sundberg. I am aiming for the win, or at least the podium, in Race 2. I hope to make the most of starting from third".
