MASERATI EXTENDED WARRANTY – LIMITED EXTENDED WARRANTY
 
The exclusive ‘Maserati Extended Warranty’ allows your vehicle’s warranty to be extended by 12 or 24 months with unlimited mileage. The ‘Maserati Extended Warranty’ is available up to year 7 on the Maserati GranCabrio, GranTurismo and Quattroporte (excluding the Duo-select version), and up to year 5 on the Quattroporte (including the Duo-select version), Coupé, Spyder, GranSport and GranSport Spyder.
 
For the 4th and 4th and 5th year programmes, the activation request must be received by the expiration date of the contracted warranty period (that is three years from the date of registration) or, in cases where a 5-year Extended Warranty is in place, by the end of year 4. The mileage at the time of activation must not exceed 62,500 (100,000 km).
 
For the 6th year and 6th and 7th year programmes, the activation request must be received by the expiration date of the pre-existing and compulsory 4th+5th or 5th year Extended Warranty period. In cases where a 7th year Extended Warranty is in place, the activation request must be received by the end of year 6. The mileage at the time of activation must not exceed 80.800 (130.000 km).
 
CERTIFICATION
 
Aside from the mileage limitations and the deadlines by which the programmes must be activated, it is possible to request the “Maserati Extended Warranty” and “Maserati Limited Extended Warranty” programmes if the vehicle:
 
• Is in possession of a full, official service history;
 
• Has completed all ordinary and extraordinary maintenance services scheduled by Maserati and carried out by Authorised Service Centres and has respected all updates and/or recalls announced by Maserati;
 
• Has never been involved in a major accident or have been tampered with;
 
• Has never participated in races or competitions;
 
• Is not stolen;
 
• Has passed all the relative programme’s required technical checks
 
PROGRAMME VALIDITY
 
The “Maserati Extended Warranty” cover is effective from the day following the expiration of the contracted warranty or that of the pre-existing extension programme, in cases where a “Limited Extended Warranty” is in place, and has a validity period of 12 or 24 months, depending on the client’s request:
 
• It is possible to request cover for the 4th year and later extend the warranty until the end of year 5(*) or it is possible to request cover for 6th year and later extend the warranty until the end of year 7(**).
 
• Alternatively, it is possible to request cover for the 4th and 5th years or the 6th and 7th years as a single transaction.
 
The assistance provided during the warranty extension period is identical to that provided during the contracted warranty period (for more detailed information and conditions of cover, please consult the programme booklet).
 
The ‘Maserati Extended Warranty’ is transferred to the new owner in cases where ownership has changed.
 
(*) Activation only available by the end of the 4th year of cover and with mileage under 62.500 (100,000 km).
(**) Activation only available by the end of the 6th year of cover and with mileage under 80,800 (130,000 km).

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE


Only for Europe, the Maserati Extended Warranty includes roadside assistance, available for the entire duration of the extended warranty period.
With an Assistance Centre available 24 hours a day, the Maserati Extended Warranty Assistance covers all European clients with the following services:

- roadside assistance and replacement vehicle

- homeward travel for passengers or provision of their onward journey

- recovery of the repaired car
- accommodation expenses
- repatriation of the vehicle
- money advance for essential expenses

- Maserati Services and motoring information.
