Nestore Morosini’s piece for the Corriere della Sera (14 July 2008) features a sweeping photo of the Quattroporte S in the centre of the page.

The image captures all the quality of the Maserati: “The car that flexes its muscles on the road”, as the title states. The journalist gives the car the thumbs up: “On the motorway, the ride is excellent and any bumps are well absorbed by the suspension”; “… the transmission is fast, slick and fun, especially in curves when the car really is an entertaining drive. The fun only improves in mixed stretches thanks to the paddle shift gears and amazing roadholding. This fine handling makes it a typically Italian flagship model with a unique charm. Whoever buys the car will be very hard to shift from the driving seat”.

The brakes also come in for praise and are described as “different class”. Morosini goes on to describe the interior: the electronically controlled seats, the redesigned steering wheel grip that now accommodates the thumbs more easily, the dashboard with its new multimedia system and the console with its more user-friendly command layout. The article is flanked by photos of the engine, the interior and the car on the move.
