All the talk is of ‘elegant lines’ and ‘outstanding mechanics’. The monthly trade magazine emphasises how Maserati’s berlina maintains its startlingly successful run despite the current economic crisis. It also discusses why it provides real competition for the new Panamera. The Quattroporte is: “an extremely fascinating car.
The sound that comes from the engine is involving and unique. The harmony of the lines is a masterpiece that only Pininfarina could create”. Luca Goldoni, who drove the car through places that inspired Guareschi and Verdi, commented: “Hats off to Maserati which, when presenting the new Quattroporte, could not have chosen a more Emilian setting”. Having eloquently described the car and location for the test drive, Goldoni concluded by stating that as well as the “excursion in the Little World”, Maserati has also conquered the big world with over ten thousand vehicles sold in regions ranging from the USA and Europe to the Middle East.
