The Oschersleben Germany circuit will host the fifth round of the Trofeo Maserati GranTurismo MC. After the last two races in the Brno round, the championship is fully open to possibilities.

Goldstein/Sundberg are still the classification leaders, but Zumerle’s double victory has taken him up to a single point away from the duo at the top, making the Maserati championship even more exciting.

Eight countries will be represented by drivers at Oschersleben, with numerous local racers: in addition to Andreas Segler, there will also be Dieter Schaper and the Antonio Santamaria/Thomas Herpel duo, while the media cars will be driven by journalists Christian Gebhardt (from Sport Auto magazine) and Guido Naumann (Auto Bild Sports Cars).

Maserati is organizing a series of initiatives for its customers: commercial and marketing activities to promote the brand and product range during the round in Germany.

Eurosport will broadcast highlights of the Maserati championship on Sunday evening within the “Motorsports Weekend” show (Eurosport from 5.45pm), in addition to airing an in-depth summary of the two races on Thursday, 9 September on Eurosport 2 from 7pm to 7:30pm.

Video clips will be posted and made available after the day of the race on www.thenewsmarket.com and www.maseraticorse.com  (where interviews to all the drivers will be published).

RMC (Radio Monte Carlo) is the Trofeo’s Media Partner. It is dedicating two reports for every round, included in the weekly “RMC Motori” program, in their Sunday special RMC Music & Sports (2.30pm) show.
