Only two weeks after the third round in Brands Hatch, England, the Trofeo Maserati GranTurismo MC is once again pitting Maserati drivers against each other, this time in Brno, Czech Republic.

The English verdict awarded two victories to Italian driver Alessandro Pier Guidi in addition to consolidating the leadership of the Goldstein/Sundberg duo, now first with 48 points. Pier Guidi himself is behind them (32), and then a cluster of four drivers with 22, amongst which Enrico Moncada, Marco Petrini e Sergio Rota. They seem to be the most likely to present a challenge to the leading duo in the championship leadership.
Among those lined up for the fourth round: the press team made up of French journalist Stéphane Enout from Auto Hebdo magazine and Italian Mauro Simoncini.

The Trofeo Maserati formula consists of two free practice sessions on Friday (40 minutes), two qualifying races on Saturday (20’) and two races (38’ plus one lap) on Sunday.

For the Czech Republic races, Maserati is organizing a series of initiatives for its customers: commercial and marketing activities to promote the brand and product range.

Eurosport will broadcast highlights of the Brno race on Sunday night (1st August) within their Motorsports Weekend program (at 5:45pm GMT) in addition to a full account of the two races on Thursday, 5 August on Eurosport 2 from 6pm to 6:30pm GMT.
Video clips of the races will be available a few days after the races at www.thenewsmarket.com and www.maseraticorse.com (interviews to all the drivers will also be posted).

RMC (Radio Monte Carlo) is the Trophy’s Media Partner. It will air two features dedicated to each round in their weekly RMC Motori program, in their Sunday RMC Music & Sports program (1pm-5pm GMT).
