Six years since its birth, the car that created the luxury sport sedan sector, gains a new member. The latest version, the Quattroporte Sport GT S ‘Award Edition’, brings together the marque’s renowned elegance and sportiness by employing specially sourced materials, a handcrafted finish and sporty elements. The new car enhanced the Maserati stand, taking its place on a display that also featured the GranCabrio (that hit European dealerships over the past few days and will go on to be supplied globally). Also exhibited was an MC Sport Line version of the GranTurismo.
The Swiss show gave Maserati a chance to present three new body colours that increase the personalisation options for the exterior.
Three new opaque tints for the bodywork have been added to the extensive list of metallic, pastel and pearlescent finishes:
- Bianco Fuji opaque, a tint that is both soft and shiny;
- Blu Mediterraneo opaque, sporty and bubbly;
- Grigio Granito opaque, elegant and decisive.
The metallic particles give these tones a surprising depth to create a distinctive ‘volume’ effect while also resting lightly over the car’s curves. Maserati has always been known for its personalisation options and its build quality, two values that are evident in these new tints that have been generated by expert hands. The various layers of colour are applied during a lengthy and complex process.
To round things off, Geneva allowed the Modenese company to unveil the new online Maserati Store that is dedicated to Maserati merchandising. The store has been updated with a new ‘frontpage’ and new content. A revised graphics interface brings the Store in line the marque’s brand values and makes navigating the site, browsing the online catalogue and purchasing products even easier.
Users can keep up to date with all new Maserati products by visiting maseratistore.com. There they can find offers and promotions, receive advice on gift ideas and make fuss-free purchases.
