The latest that took place involved over 20 Maserati cars driving up in a convoy from Singapore to Malacca, Malaysia.

The short weekend getaway saw a gathering of all the Maserati cars, lining up the driveway of the Maserati City Showroom downtown at 0830hrs with breakfast. The flagging off of the group took place past 0900hrs, after the drive briefing. The comfortable 2 hour drive proved to be both exhilarating for many of the first-time participants where the cars moved at a fast comfortable pace and remained in a full pack throughout the entire journey. The sight of 2 groups of 10 cars along the North South Highway was definitely something to behold! Participants stretched their engines along straight open roads on the highway, much to their pleasure.

The arrival into Malacca town caused quite a stir among the locals with the Maserati cars turning heads as the convoy zipped past the historical sites and shophouses. The group were left to their own free and easy schedule upon checking in at the hotel, meeting up only in the evening for a fully authentic Peranakan dinner – a local must have. Over dinner, a photo presentation of the drive up was showcased.

Returning the following morning undoubtedly left many asking for details on the next planned drive up North.
