Sticking with the policy of presenting a new model at each motorshow, chief executive Harald J. Wester unveiled the new Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic in a world premiere. The car is powered by a wet sump 4.7 litre engine capable of delivering 440bhp at 7000 rpm that boasts a peak torque of 440 Nm at 4750rpm. The GranTurismo S Automatic also comes equipped with a ZF automatic transmission.
The Geneva event also saw the European unveiling of the new Quattroporte Sport GT S, the sporty version of the Modenese company’s flagship model; one that has won rave reviews from the motoring press. Journalists from around the world are now busy putting the car through its paces in a series of road tests.
In Geneva, Maserati was at its usual position at Paddock 1, Stand 1051. The stand was one of the busiest with visitors attracted by a GranTurismo S in Grigio Granito and a Bianco Fuji Quattroporte S.
Catching the eye on the stand were products from the Maserati Store and accessories and personalisation options designed to make each Maserati unique.
