Once again, the Trident flagship came first in the Luxury Imported Sedan Category in the motoring magazine's annual 'Auto Trophy' readers' poll. With an impressive 30,3% of the votes cast, it comfortably finished ahead of its rivals the Lexus LS 600H (20,4%) and the Bentley Continental Flying Spur (17,7%).

The original concept of the Maserati Quattroporte was first presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1963. Even today, forty years on, the Quattroporte uniquely combines the classic values of the Maserati brand; state-of-the-art technology and breathtaking performance combined with elegant design and a high-quality, comfortable interior. It is a vehicle with two souls - on the one hand it's a prestige sedan, on the other a dynamic gran turismo.

Following the excellent result of the Auto Zeitung readers' poll, in which more than 94,000 readers took part, the Maserati Quattroporte has another important prize to add to an increasingly long list of international awards.
