The motorcar that was driven in some of the trials for the 1957 World Championships by Prince Bira, was then bought by Vanwall in order to study the technical construction of its frame. For British cars of the time, although possessing a racing engine, the chassis proved to be an Achilles' heel.
The 250F, that has previously participated in the Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge, completed a few laps of the track without encountering any problems at all.

It was an unusual kind of morning on the Fiorano circuit, when Lorenzo Casoli's 250F came onto the track to do a photo shoot, the results of which are due to be published in a well-known vintage car magazine, in an article dedicated to the 250F.
