The event brought together many of the Maserati Register members, historic car collectors, and owners of the marque's most recent model, the 3200 GT. There were free practice sessions on the track and timed laps for the historic cars. The participants also got the chance to do a lap in the two test cars brought along by Maserati and driven by the company's test drivers.

Maseratis old and new were the stars of an event organised at Imola's Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari by the Maserati Registro Storico in conjunction with the Trident marque and the Italian sales network.
