The new three-spoke sports steering-wheel incorporates the multifunction control buttons for the on-board devices and has a more heavily profiled grip. Available in leather and Alcantara®, leather-only or leather and carbon fibre, it reflects the Maserati engineers’ focus on optimising the use of space: the top and bottom of the rim are flattened for an even more compact look.
The gear-shift paddles and pedals are an extension of the driver’s will
Peeking out from behind the steering wheel are the new, longer Trofeo Design gear-shift paddles: firmly connected to the steering column, they are available in carbon fibre on request and are designed to ensure maximum control over gear changes even on the most winding of roads. The accelerator and brake pedals, meanwhile, come in perforated aluminium as standard to ensure optimum grip and improved handling in all conditions.
Alcantara in combination with leather for an adrenalin-filled interior
Those in search of an even more adrenalin-filled interior will be delighted with the Alcantara® package, inspired by the typical upholstery of racing cars. Lighter than leather, this high-tech material can be used to clad a large proportion of the interior: from the brow above the instrument panel to the central armrest and the door panel/handle armrest, through to the central part of the dashboard and the central tunnel.
