The star head and Maserati-specific cross section make the security studs a unique standout product. And they are totally secure, since their unique design means that they can be installed and removed only with the special wrench provided with the kit.

The wrench must be kept safely in a secure location, even inside the car (the wrench is needed to remove the studs and hence the rim in case of punctures).

The studs, once mounted, can covered to conceal the star-shaped head and maintain the look of the standard studs, or left bare for a sportier, more technical look.
