Swiss Team
The Swiss Team is based in Balerna, Switzerland. The outfit was founded in 2008 by Guido Bonfiglio, also the team’s sporting director, to kick off the Maserati Quattroporte Superstars project. The team is now 13 strong with Giuseppe Angiulli acting as Technical Director, Sergio Beccio as Head of Aerodynamics, Marc Roca as Track Engineer and Roberto Palli as Head Mechanic.
The Technical Director. Engineer Giuseppe Angiulli has bags of motorsport experience. From 1989 to 1994 he worked in F1 with Osella and has since continued to collaborate with the company on track and hillclimbing prototypes. Between 1994 and 1996 he was involved in Alfa Corse’s DTM project. From 1998 to 2000, Angiulli was a consultant for the official BMW Motorsport team Rafanelli and worked on ALMS prototypes. In 2002 he collaborated with Michelotto Corse in developing the Ferrari 360 and F430. In 2006 he guided team Villorba Corse to success in the Italian GT series with the F430. Between 2008 and 2010 he acted as track engineer for the Vitaphone team and their Maserati MC12s that competed in the International FIA GT championship.
