Alex Müller: “Things went quite well and the car handled ok. After my lap I asked my engineer who was first and when he replied 'Karl' (Wendlinger, ed) I thought I was back at Silverstone! Jokes aside, we are hopeful about tomorrow's race as the car is quick and consistent”.

Andrea Bertolini (2): “I am happy because I think I drove a good qualifying lap and I think the team can also be satisfied with Alex's result. We really put the effort in, as we have said over the past few days. The car was set up for the race and we hope it will be able to compete once the event gets underway”.
