Moran Atias at CineCocktail
Inspirational, witty and super-elegant, Israeli actress Moran Atias won over the public gathered on the Maserati Terrace for her interview with Claudia Catalli.
There were a range of topics covered during the interview, from cinema to charity work for Haiti, but the main focus was on the relationship with Paul Haggis with whom she shot the new The Third Person. “An emotional film in which I play a gypsy: before the shoot, I wandered around Rome pretending to be one and I found out at first hand people’s social and aesthetic prejudices. It really helped in forming my character, complete with yellowed and broken teeth; some on the set even thought they were my own! Even looking like that I seduce Adrien Brody – a generous person and true professional”.
Though there are projects in the pipeline like the new TV series Tyrant and a screenplay with Paul Haggis, Atias’ dream is to direct her own production: “Maybe an advert would suit me best. As we are on the Maserati Terrace “I’d like to say: it would be great to direct one of their ads”.
Among the guests lined up over the coming days are Valeria Solarino and Marco Bocci. The complete programme will be published shortly.
The 2013 CineCocktail has been created in collaboration with ‘Lorella Signorino Atelier’, the new style project that has developed out of "Love, Sex, Money".
