L’Uomo Vogue celebrates Marina Abramović at a party organised on Maserati Terrace
James Franco, photographed by Francesco Carrozzini, will feature on the cover of September's edition of L'Uomo Vogue. The issue will be dedicated to the world of cinema.
The Californian actor and director, who will take part in the festival as an actor in Palo Alto and will get behind the lens for the second time when directing 'Child of God', will also play himself in a docu-film that gives an insight into his life, Marina Abramović's “James Franco: The Last Unicorn”, edited by Milica Zec.
The L'Uomo Vogue party will be held in the lagoon and, as always, signals the opening of the festival. This time there will be the opportunity to present the trailer of Abramović's film in an exclusive premiere. The cocktail party presentation will be held at 19.30 on 27 August on the Maserati Terrace.
Maserati will celebrate its collaboration as the main sponsor of the 70th Biennale Venice Film Festival and will set up in the swimming pool area of the Hotel Excelsior a dynamic Festival space dedicated to interviews, meetings, cocktails and events.
The entire Festival jury, Franca Sozzani, editor of L'Uomo Vogue, and Maserati's CEO, Harald Wester, will be mingling with the Italian and international guests.
Moët & Chandon, sponsor of the 70th Biennale Venice Film Festival, will be the evening's official champagne. The event will continue with a dinner, in collaboration with Maserati, and an exclusive party at Palazzina Grassi.
Matteo Ceccarini will perform live DJ sets during the cocktail event presentation of Marina Abramović's film and at the Palazzina Grassi party.
