2.24v. II (cat.)

As for the whole of the Biturbo range, a restyling was introduced in 1991 on the 2.24v. The upgrades focused mostly on the front end, with new headlights, thinner grille and bumpers, new 7-spoke alloy wheels and a spoiler at the base of the windshield.

From a mechanical point of view, the power output was slightly down due to the use of the catalytic exhaust system. The innovative electronic suspension with active control on all four wheels was mounted as standard. Production was stopped after two more years, with 254 units of the second series built.
